Morleys
Butch and Becky Morley were both born and raised in South Africa. They met at Rosebank Bible College and were married in 1986. They have 4 children: Chad, Kirsti, Lara and Calvin. In 1995 they moved from South Africa to Minnesota, USA. Butch became very involved in soccer through the local community as well as in the Schools and God began to give him a vision for sports ministry. In 2002 the Morleys moved to Florida and for 6 years served full time with On Goal Soccer Ministries. After years of using soccer as platform for sharing the Gospel the idea of an “evangelistic soccer ball” caught Butch’s attention. Using the colors of the “wordless book”, (which tell the story of the Gospel), the idea began to take shape. Butch worked with a number of people and soon the J316 soccer ball was realized. Butch and Becky Morley went on to start J316 Ministries in 2009 and they have been full time with the ministry since then.
